Responsibilities

  • Supervises technician staff for Plantation, FL office
  • Manages daily clinic workflow
  • Confirms weekly chart reviews
  • Communicates with physicians
  • Creates and monitors schedule for technicians
  • Recruits new technical staff
  • Oversees the training of new technicians
  • Conducts annual employee performance evaluations
  • Implements time or cost savings protocols
  • Identifies and implements ways to improve clinic workflow
  • Documents clinic policies and procedures
  • Manages drug inventory
  • Monitors supplies
  • Identifies equipment that needs repair or replacement
  • Manages the Quality Payment Program
  • Supports and manages clinical operations
  • Adheres to OSHA, HIPAA and security protocols
  • Supports RFG's Mission Statement
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform all clinical functions
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 5 years of previous experience in an ophthalmology practice
  • COA or COT certification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility with hours and local travel
  • Proficient with EMR and practice management system
  • Exhibit patience and compassion
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment or work independently
