We are currently seeking a full-time insurance coordinator to join our team in our southern locations in Broward County. The insurance coordinator plays a key role in flow of the office. They are responsible for verifying eligibility, insurance and authorizations prior to the patients arrival into the office. 


  • Verifies all patient insurance benefits and eligibility at least 48 hours in advance
  • Reviews and resolves copayment assistance eligibility and enrollment
  • Follows and tracks specialty pharmacy drug order protocol
  • Identifies & documents all drug authorization, ordering & shipping issues
  • Works with insurance companies and referring doctors in regards to obtaining authorizations, and referrals using CPT and ICD-10 codes


  • Must have knowledge of current insurance companies and electronic portals
  • Experience with obtaining¬†referrals and authorizations
  • Ability to prioritize tasks properly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility with hours and local area travel
  • Ability to work in multiple software programs/applications
  • Answer multi-line telephones
